My goal is to share my personal hardships and successes of overcoming the scars of child neglect induced by my parents’ substance abuse with children and parents who suffer through similar experiences. In sharing my story, I hope to encourage others that with hard work, determination and strong self-esteem, coupled with the assistance from professionals and mentors, both those children and recovering addicts can live happy and stabilized lives.
